Actor Tom Hardy was born in London, England, on September 15, 1977. He is renowned for his unique style and thoughtful roles in popular culture and mainstream blockbusters, such as Inception (2010), The Dark Knight Rises (2012), Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), and Dunkirk (2017). There was little sign in Hardy’s early years of maturity that he would go on to become a cinematic star.
When he was still a teenager, he developed drug and alcohol addictions, was suspended from school, and was arrested for joyriding while carrying a revolver.
